John M. Cudd was born at Kindley Air Force Base in Bermuda, UK in 1959. He moved to Texas as a child, and was raised in Corpus Christi, TX—spending his days learning and developing the fundamental infrastructure of mechanical creations while using his past time to sharpen his skills of calf roping and raising quarter horses. He attended A&I University, studying natural gas engineering. In 1980, he started his oilfield company, CUDD Hydraulics, where his clientele covered local and large chain industry businesses. Cudd has been married to his wife, Cindy, for thirty-eight years, and has two children, Lacey & J.W.
After forty-plus years in business, John M. Cudd has seen what regulations and inconsistencies with government agencies can do to a community by negatively impacting thriving businesses. The Nueces County Tax Appraisal District is an example of an agency over estimating tax values—creating hardships for businesses, large and small.
If elected, John M. Cudd will bring transparency to the community, and fairness to the Nueces County Tax Appraisal District, by making operational procedures known to the tax payers and instigating the change that needs to be present on the board.
